Full-time position

Digital Designer

Description

We’re looking for an amazing designer with a love for all things digital to join our team in Haugesund. Whether you’re straight out of school or have a few years of experience under your belt, what’s important is that you’re driven, curious and passionate about design and technology. You’ll be a core member of our creative team and be hands on designing and building exciting projects ranging from strong visual identities and brands to digital products like websites, e-commerce solutions, apps and other digital experiences.

Design skills

  • Passion for design, branding and digital products/experiences.
  • UX/UI: Your work is visually stunning, but intuitive and user friendly. User experience lies at the core of your design decisions.
  • You design and prototype in InVision, Studio, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, etc. and are comfortable with the whole Adobe suite of applications.
  • Strong understanding of grid and layout principles, typography, color theory, etc.
  • You’re versatile and hands on: from planning and prototyping, to designing and executing great digital experiences.
  • Your curious about technology and are up-to-date/ahead of the curve regarding its role in design.

Bonus skills

You also have, or are curious and driven to develop your skills within: 1) coding  or 2) animation and motion graphics.

Personal skills

  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • You’re a problem solver and strategic thinker. You understand how to tackle a project brief and know that design has a purpose and needs to solve challenges.
  • You’re a quick learner when presented with new and unfamiliar tasks or challenges. If you don’t know how to do it, you want to learn how to do it.
  • You can carry your weight and work independently, but you also work exceptionally well in a team setting.
  • You’re structured, organised, great at planning and time management and work smart and efficiently.
  • You are fluent in Norwegian & English.

Front-end Developer

Description

We’re looking for a skilled front-end developer who has a passion and appreciation for design and details to join our team in Haugesund. Whether you’re straight out of school or have a few years of experience under your belt, what’s important is that you’re driven, curious and passionate about technology and design. You’ll be a core member of our creative team and be hands on designing and building exciting projects ranging from strong visual identities and brands to digital products like websites, e-commerce solutions, apps and other digital experiences.

Technical skills

  • Passion and appreciation for design and design driven digital products/experiences.
  • You’re curious and up to date with the newest tech trends and about technology and are up-to-date/ahead of the curve regarding its role in design.
  • You’re proficient in JS, HTML, CSS, +++
  • You have some experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue/React, Angular, etc.
  • You have a proven track record of building modern and well engineered web applications.
  • You have some experience building single-page applications.
  • You write clean and easy to maintain code, think smart and build reusable code and libraries.
  • You optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Strong focus on developing intuitive and user friendly solutions (UX).
  • You can easily integrate front end solutions with CMS solutions—namely Craft and WordPress.
  • You can easily code from design assets and prototypes developed in Invision, Studio, Sketch and Adobe XD, Illustrator, etc.
  • You’re detail focused, with the ability to translate well designed interfaces into code, and work closely with designers.
  • Experience working with, and knowledge of, UX/UI design is a huge plus, and definitely something we want you to develop further.
